The Ellen DeGenerate Controversy

This past week we have seen the announcement of Ellen DeGeneres as the new spokesperson of JcPenney and the subsequent rebuttal from One Million Moms. Ellen announced on her daytime show that JcPenneys is standing behind their decision to make Ellen their spokesperson.

While doing this she in her comic style told everyone that in case they had just tuned in that she was in deed a lesbian. Ellen then proceeded to blast the One Million Moms group by saying that they were haters.

Ellen has missed the message of Christ, although I cannot speak for the OMM, I can speak for myself and say that I do not hate her, I feel sorry for her. One day she will be in that long line in front of the Great White Throne of Judgment and she will proceed to tell God,

“I stand for honesty, equality, kindness, compassion, treating people the way you want to be treated, and helping those in need. To me, those are traditional values, that’s what I stand for.”

Our Father will then say, “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Ellen has missed the point, all of the good that we do will never out do the bad. Only the blood of Jesus can do that.

I lift up the One Million Moms group for standing in the gap, and tell them that there is at least one man here that will stand with them. In reviewing our spending last year, my family only spent around $350 in JcPenney. I know that is not a large sum but it will be a sum that will not be spent with them this year. When Ellen was trying to insult the OMM group she made the comment that someone couldn’t count that there were only 40k or so on their group, not 1 million.

If just 40k of us stand and spend what we did last year and say not anymore that would be $14 million dollars of revenue lost. That may not hurt the bottom line of JcPenney but if only 1 out of 10 that claim the name of Christ in America did the same at say $100 of annual sales per year, with 311 million Americans[1] and 78.4% claiming to be Christians[2] that would be equivalent to $2.4 million dollars. I believe that Ron Johnson, CEO of JcPenney, would probably sit up and take notice.

While speaking of Ron, in his comments he made on CBS This Morning, on February 9th, stating, “Ellen captures what America is about.” No Ron, she doesn’t. According to Huffington Post, it is estimated that there are only 4 million in America[3] that are homosexual or 1.29%.

Ron went on to also say that “We have the chance to be America’s favorite store.” How by offending the fundamental values that were given to us by God? Ron also made reference to the “Golden Rule.”

I am always amazed that non-believers quote the Bible for their benefit even though I shouldn’t because that is exactly what the Devil did in the temptation of my Lord Jesus Christ. But, in using Ron’s defense, shouldn’t JcPenney hire a child-molester for their spokesperson in children’s clothes or maybe Alyssa Bustamante, the teen who cut the throat of a 9 year old in Missouri[4] for their kitchen cutlery spokesperson.Or maybe Bernie Madoff could be the spokesperson for Bank of America.

I know that these are extreme but it is no more extreme than the general public force feeding us homosexuality as the normal. Homosexuality is a sin, no better no worse than any other sin, sin is sin. What makes it worse is the unrepentive state that our society has fallen into.God had something to say on this matter,

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” Isaiah 5:20 NIV

Also, one thing that I thought was amusing was when Ron Johnson was asked if he was wearing JcPenney’s clothes, he said “No.” Maybe Ron has begun to boycott JcPenney.

With all this said, I can’t tell you how to spend your money, only you can. If you want to support an organization that puts unrepentive degenerates I mean DeGeneres as their spokesperson, this is America and you are well within your rights. But, I can tell you that if you are under the blood of Jesus, it is time to get off the fence.

There is no middle ground.

You are either for God or for the Devil and it is time for you to choose your side.

I again applaud One Million Moms for standing up for the truth, God’s Word.

These are just passing thoughts from a country preacher, let the flaming begin.

By the way, I might get a little flaming here but I know that its not eternal flames.

The Coming Storm

Unless you have been comatose, you have to be aware that something is going on in the world right now. And it doesn’t look good.

Egypt Riots

Bahrani Riots

That is just some of the Protests or Riots that is going on in the Middle-East.

Now you may be there thinking well that won’t affect me. Think again.

With the Suez Canal and all the oil from the Middle-East coming through it, Libya already talking about how they are going to stop production of oil, and Bahran being the port of our 5th fleet, it has everything to do with y

Iranian Riot

ou.

Gas is already on the rise, and crude has hit $98 per barrel and going higher, everything is going to increase in price.

Remember that like my dad always told me, (retired teamster) everything comes by truck. And last time I checked trucks run on diesel which comes from crude oil.

Get the picture?

I have been asked by some if this is the End of the World Times. The Second Coming of Christ.

To answer this, YES. But, the day and time have been coming since He ascended. Is it going to happen tomorrow? Only the Father knows.

One thing to think about is that the Anti-Christ is to come and bring peace to Israel and their enemies. Well, the enemies are coming out of the woodwork right now.

Also, I see no reference anywhere in God’s word about the US. IF WE CONTINUE ON THIS PATH, we will become nothing more than a 3rd world country. It is already going that way in the inner-cities. Don’t believe me, take a trip to Detroit.

I have also been asked what can we do?

1st and foremost, PRAY!!!!

2nd, start acting like the Americans that started this country. That means start taking care of yourself and your family. Get prepared.

  1. Buy Food! If you can’t do a year supply, then start with 3 months. If you can’t get 3 months, get a month’s worth. (Get the picture?)
  2. Get out of debt. I know its hard, but its worth it. Be a slave to no man or bank.
  3. Get some land
  4. Get some livestock

That is just one way to start. Whether you want to try it that way or another, just start. DO SOMETHING.

By the way, all this noise about “Th Brotherhood of Islam” being a peaceful organization. Don’t You Believe IT!!!!!

Read this article,

FBI: Muslim Brotherhood deeply rooted inside U.S.

And who cares about Lindsey Lohan’s antics. Send her to jail. Sorry, rant off. There are just so many more important things going on in the world today.

More later….

Everything is Going UP!!!!

Prices are going higher duh!

Looks like the mainstream media is finally catching up with what we the general public already knew.

New Luxury Item For America

Companies Warn That Higher Prices Are Looming

By STEPHANIE CLIFFORD, MOTOKO RICH and WILLIAM NEUMAN
A package of Oscar Mayer cold cuts. A pair of Nine West boots. A Whirlpool washing machine.

By the fall, people will most likely be paying more for each of them, as rising prices hit most consumer goods, say retailers, food companies and manufacturers of consumer products.

Cotton prices are near their highest level in more than a decade, after adjusting for inflation, and leather and polyester costs are jumping as well. Copper recently hit its highest level in about 40 years, and iron ore, used for steel, is fetching extremely high prices. Prices for corn, sugar, wheat, beef, pork and coffee are soaring. Labor overseas is becoming more expensive, meanwhile, and so are the utility bills to keep a factory running.

“There are cost pressures from virtually everywhere,” said Wesley R. Card, the chief executive of the Jones Group, whose brands include Nine West and Anne Klein. After trying to keep retail prices flat or even lower during the recession, Jones says prices for its brands will climb 15 to 20 percent by autumn.

When commodity prices started to rise last summer, many manufacturers and retailers absorbed the costs, worried that shoppers would not pay higher prices during the competitive holiday season or while the economy was still fragile.

Many big companies, including Kraft, Polo Ralph Lauren and Hanes, say they cannot hold off any longer and must raise prices to protect some profits.

Whether shoppers will pay is unclear. “Consumers are not exactly in the frame of mind or economic circumstances to say ‘Oh, pay whatever they ask,’ ” said Joshua Shapiro, chief United States economist at MFR Inc. “There’s going to be pushback.”

Economists say the increases may eventually show up as inflation, though they are not yet projecting rates that would set off alarms. Despite some fears, inflation has been extremely low, at a rate of just 1.4 percent annually in December. Data for January will be released Thursday, but economists expect inflation will run about 2.5 percent this year.” Read the whole article here, NYTimes.

So What Can We Do?

Real easy, try buying what you can now.

If you use 10 gallons of cooking oil a year, buy it now.

Buy underwear and socks now. Anything cotton.
The average 4 person house can use up to 150 pounds of sugar in one year. Sugar is one commodity that doesn’t spoil to easy.
You can store approximately 40 to 45 pounds of sugar in a 5 gallon bucket.

We recently saw sugar go up to $31.00 for 50# at Sam’s Club, this was a significant increase. We paid $21.00 just in the fall of last year. Now I see that the government is saying that inflation is going to rise to 2.5 percent this year. I am nothing but a sinner saved by grace but I can do a little math. If there is a difference of $10 over $21, that is close to a 50% increase. Someone’s math isn’t working.

Just a side note, we found an Aldis in the area that still had 5# bags for $1.89 each or .38$ per pound, already a savings of .24$ per pound over Sams.

I would suggest you start buying the staples now. It beats any savings plan you can get right now. Plus, you can eat it.

I know that money is tight, but start small and build your storehouse up.

God Bless All
